Yes, this does require some math.  Carefully stack the items in a neat and safe pile and measure the Height, Width and Depth of the pile.  Record those measurements they will help determine the Inside Safe Area needed to protect those important items.  It is also important to remember that a safe is an investment, it will serve you and your heirs long after we depart this life.

Think carefully about your investment in a safe - it is long-term, have you thought about adding some extra space in your measurements?  People out-grow a safe just as they out grow a home.  Make sure you have extra space to store the acquisitions in the future.  It is a good idea to double the amount of space you need - safes are like homes, people do out grow them.
